Hi everyone! I'd like to take a moment to welcome myself to my first blog ever! Thank you, thank you!
I have resisted this fad successfully over the years, but today I followed a link of a friend's blog and had an enlightened moment. Wow, that would be a really neat thing to do for our family and friends that don't see us every day. We are loners in Winston-Salem, just the four of us out here in the wild west of NC. So, here we are! This is for you! But, the thing that really motivated me was the chance to have a record of events, thoughts, memories. I've been terrible at this aspect of the "new" parenthood. I do wish I had written down more over the last 6 years of Grace's (and Ava's) life. Since I'm more likely to type than to write anything, this might actually work!! Who knows, maybe my girls would even enjoy reading some of these entries.
I am, needless to say, excited about it now. And anyone who knows me, when I get something in my brain, it's done.
